Did You Ever.
Did you ever pray to God asking for help in achieving something or prayed for Him
to help you do something only to discover that it all went disastrously wrong?
If so, let me assure you that you are not alone.It happens to all of us at some time in our life, sometimes even when we are full of confidence and assurance that all will be well.
But why? Why does it happen? Why, when we prayed, did it all go so wrong?
Well, sometimes the answer is for God in His infinite wisdom to know, for us not to know and to just accept the new situation and to accept the fact that we may never know why, or the fact that we may never know the answer.
Why should we know the answer anyway, it's God we're talking about here.
Perhaps in His overall plan of things, what we asked for would interfere in the long run with a plan He has for someone else.
We just never can tell.
But if we can train ourselves to accept that that's just the way things are sometimes, then we truly are on our way to be growing in faith and knowledge and peace.
Just to end on a positive note, you will probably discover that over time, what you asked God for usually works out for the best, no mattter the outcome.
